"Here are the highlights I thought I'd call out: -There are tons of fun things to do at the house like ping pong, pool, the swimming pool, games, exploring the property, the animals, etc. -Other reviews mentioned the road. We found the drive to be very easy. It's about 5 minutes on a dirt/gravel road. We were there in monsoon season and it rained every day but the roads were great. -The bathroom is also mentioned in other reviews. The main bathroom on the second floor is definitely "dorm like"...

Wildlife visitors included iguanas, green parrots, scarlet macaws, many species of birds & butterflies. Definitely need an SUV to manage the roads to the house. All in all great place to stay. "My family of 5 loved this home! We stayed just two nights after staying near Manuel Antonio and then La Fortuna so we could visit the Blue Falls and have a short drive back to SJO - and then wished we could stay longer. The home is very well stocked, has several cute sitting areas, and is perfect for bird watchers. We really enjoyed a dinner in that the neighbor prepared for us. Our stay definitely exceeded our expectations!"

The house sits further back from the road than most houses in Costa Rica, but there is still a lot of road noise for someone coming from the United States. The property manager was pleasant, responsive, and helpful, with a good command of English. We do have some suggestions for improvement: (1) keep more towels in the bathrooms; (2) add towel racks in bathrooms to allow for drying of towels; (3) supply paper...
