"The area surrounding the property was not in a safe neighborhood. However the hotel is enclosed all around by privacy fencing and barbed wire that you cannot see from inside the pool and gardens area. Parking is also enclosed within the fenced area. I felt like the hitel was an oasis and i felt safe within the property. Wonderful hot breakfast buffet included in price."

"Hotel Bosque del Mar is an immaculately maintained small/medium-sized property that sits right on the beach in Playa Hermosa. The staff here were very friendly and provided lots of information for us before and during our trip, anytime we requested it. "I loved my stay at La Mansion. Christopher and the rest of the staff was so helpful and genuinely kind. The room was spacious and beautiful. The property and view was gorgeous. Waking up to the lake view and rainforest sounds every morning was heavenly. I didn’t get a chance to hike down to the lake because the rain was in predictable the morning we tried to do that.
