"From the Torridon Guest House we walked to all restaurants; to shopping areas, along the Ness River, to Botanical Gardens and cathedral. Our hosts, Russell and Ellen were gracious and Russell was helpful in providing historical and sites to visit in the area. Our room was comfortable and quiet."

"Got the personal tour from Gail. Had the delux double which was very spacious and well equipped. Anything you need was available ether already there or just ask and all staff cheery n helpful. Great value for money and lovely fresh butcher supplied cooked breakfast. Sadly was a flying visit, but highly recommend for a single night or longer stay."

"My wife and I stayed here while on a three day tour and was a 10 minute walk from the coach drop off point in town. The owners messaged us access details the morning of the day we were to check in. Rooms are locked by a secure code and so is the front door. The room was very neat and cozy, and spotless. The area is quiet and there is minimal vehicle traffic in the morning and at night. One thing to mention to the owners is that two of our blinds wouldn’t stay down and kept rolling up, so the...

"Paul was amazing! The place was cozy and the breakfast was a great way to start the day. Very easy walk into the main strip for dinner. They were also very helpful and accommodating when it came to my disabilities! "

"I was met by Kay in the Dining rolm which had a log fire burning. She was incredibly welcoming and made you feel relaxed. Nothing was too much yrouble and the room was first class. All other public rooms and kitchen were excellent. A very quiet and relaxing place to stay. Than you"

"Somewhat disappointing. No one was there to check us in of inquire about our needs. Kind of eerie to stay at a hotel and not see anybody else (employees or guests) during our stay. Plus there was no Highland Cattle plush in our room as their web-site pictures suggest. Otherwise, a comfortable room that was clean and well-maintained."

"The Silverstrands Guest House provided us with our best stay while in Scotland. The hosts were very helpful and seemed to predict every one of our needs. Breakfast was DELICIOUS. They have several fresh cooked options and/or you can help yourself to a lovely variety of breakfast items including Greek yogurt, croissants, fresh fruits, toasts and cereal. "Fantastic. We stayed at the Highlands Suites 2 years ago and that was great but this was better. Amazing location, easy to find and navigate. Clean, well appointed and spacious for our family of 5. Grocery Shopping at M&S is always an adventure, restaurants on the river are easily walkable and Main Street shopping is right outside the door. Parking is offsite at the Eastgate Ctr but worked fine. Much less Agro than on premises parking at Highlands Suites. Excellent, Excellent… highly recommend. "

"Excellent location adjacent to the airport, reasonable value, big rooms, very modern, but inefficient staff management in the restaurant. Danielle showed us to our seat and gave us menus, then served other customers food and drink, returning to the bar past our table for 15 minutes before asking what we wanted, by which time we were gasping! Simply, she could have used any of the return journeys to the bar to ask what we’d like. She apologised, but I would suggest training is needed. "
