"The cabin had everything - the owners clearly stay here from time to time and hence it has everything a home needs. Very cleaned super comfortable beds. Markleeville also surprised us with a great restaurant, pub and other facilities."

"Great location for the Death Ride to ride to/from the start/finish. It was great to have a comfortable cottage to stay in before and after such a long ride. This is probably one of the most well equipped cottage I’ve ever stayed in. Although the home doesn’t have AC, it was a non issue with the cool breeze & multiple fans provided by the owner. Mike was great and responsive with his communication. I would definitely stay here again!!"

"we booked this room as we needed an overnight stay during a road trip. the room was nice and the location worked out great for the trip. the toilet bowl a noticeable smell. and there was no hot water. since we arrived pretty late we were hoping we can shower in the morning and leave but the water was freezing. we could barely wash our faces. there were no instructions as to how to turn the water heater on (assuming there was one) and we were in a rush so we couldn't wait for an answer."
