"We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and the room was comfortable. A few things to note, though: - the hotel is a good 15m walk from the walls of Lucca, so you need to plan your days as it’s not easy to pop back during the day, especially in the heat of August. "An absolutely beautiful hotel and room. Only negative - there was no need to be encouraged to buy breakfast vouchers for a local restaurant. We bought too many and it would be better if they just advertised as breakfast not included. Or if they said the vouchers were to be used off site. I was under the impression that they were for use at the hotel and wasn't really given guidance on how many to buy.
