"I stayed at the Treehouse September 21-22nd - this is paradise for trout fishermen (and women !) ! The property looks out over a wide swath of farmland where deer could be seen grazing. The Cumberland River is a short walk down from the cabin and from the ramp you can walk out into the river and chase trout ! I caught two nice rainbows early Sunday morning, and then switched over to my boat from the ramp in downtown Burkesville. The weather was perfect all weekend. Madison goes beyond the call...

"The property was very easy to get in and out of. The accommodations were as described and we were overall pleased with the cabin. There were a lot of ladybugs and flies and we did have one mouse come for a visit. "

"These cabins are perfectly located next to the water. The hot tub and playground make it perfect to bring the kids! The cabin was very clean and they offer new clean towels daily, which is a plus! My only 2 complaints would be 1. The kitchen is NOT fully stocked. If you are traveling with a family I would pack plenty of paper plates and even a few cookie sheets. We were able to make do, but definitely did a lot of dish washing. 2. These cabins are pet friendly which was awesome. However, vrbo...

"Kitchen well equipped and clean. We were able to do our own cooking easily. Sleeping accommodations comfortable as well. I would only recommend getting rid of 15 or more wreaths from the decor."

An incredible view and house!

"I would consider us somewhat connoisseurs of vacation home properties given that we have three kids. We visited Jane's property as a group of two families with a total of five adults and five children between ages of 7 and 13. I can say that there is plenty of space for everybody to have their own personal bed as well as abundance of private bathroom so we are we're not all sharing. The view of the lake is absolutely incredible. For the older boys they were able to scale the cliff down to the lake for fishing but not advise that for some of the younger children. Kitchen is well stocked and I was able to easily cook several meals and breakfast. Mammoth Caves was a 45 minute drive which is just fine for us to be able to get a property large enough and comfortable enough for our group. Jane went out of her way to answer any questions I had and provide some recommendations before and during our stay. This is not a sterile, company-run vacation property at all that leaves you with the bare minimum in supplies and comfort! The house felt like a home away from home."

"The motel was better than expected. Looks as if the rooms have recently been remodeled and they have done a good job overall. I mentioned a dripping tub (didn’t bother me but still they needed to know) to staff. My only complaint was that the room door was very hard to close and have latch… had to basically be slammed. "
