"Older building (1876) but still in good shape for the most part though some repairs to exterior are in order. The breakfast is consistantly good. Modern bathroom and TV options. Absolutely unbeatable location. Alexandra is literally a moment away from shopping, the train (including the Jacobite) dining and the main road. So glad we chose Alexandra, will gladly return!"

"The Highland Club apartment we stayed in was wonderful. My family was upset with me for not booking it for a longer stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable, it was very quiet and walkable to the whole downtown area of Fort Augustus. We stayed on the third floor and had to carry all of our luggage up the three fights of stairs but we survived. I marked the amenities down by one only because we tried to book a time at the pool and sauna and were unable to since it was already booked. It would have been helpful to know in advance that we had to book use of those facilities."
