"Booked a 4 night stay and we had no hot water for all 4 nights...many other issues but no hot water for 4 nights was the main reason for 1 star...we did ask host for discount but no answer back...also we were told their had been a power outage but we had power the whole stay and we talked to neighbors and they had hot water...best of luck to any who book this place...wife and I can't recommend."

"We reserved this delightful house for a family gathering, and it was everything we'd hoped for and more. "Beautifully appointed home on a beautiful lake in Woodstock, CT. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, visiting nearby orchards and hiking the many scenic trails nearby.
