Staff are very helpful. I know i am in a smoking room but the smell in room can be better. Breakfasts are free but choices of food items served could be better and more Japanese-style. Breakfast space is a little crowded. Otherwise the stay is worth the money. Location is good for dining options and transportation is easy.

Reasonably central location and english speaking staff. Most outstanding were the ladies manning the breakfast station, always problem solving, refilling, helping guests with special dietary considerations. I have stayed in no less than 30 different Toyokoinn in Japan. Kobayashi and Hosawa Sans are the BEST!

This accommodation was great and the breakfast was excellent. My only negative feedback was that the room was a bit smelly of cigarette smoke and you could smell people smoking from their rooms. We were travelling with little kids and it would’ve been better to be put on a level where there was non-smoking.

Good location within walking distance to Ningyocho and Suitengumae subway stations, from which you can access Ginza, Shibuya, and other central Tokyo locations. Room is small but functional. Good value for money. Only “issue” is there is only one elevator so you have to wait a few minutes to go down.

We needed just 1 night to stay over after arriving from the airport, before moving along to kyoto. We wanted somewhere cheap but comfortable and This hotel certainly met this criteria. Close enough to the station (anywhere closer was more expensive) and comfy beds in nice clean rooms. Free breakfast was very tasty. Just right.

We stayed there for 4 nights. The room was small, very small. Breakfast provided was ok for 2 days but very limited. No choices for westerners, which were there a lot. One memorable highlight were the ladies serving the breakfast, which were very cheerful and very friendly even when so busy every morning. The reception staff on the other hand very indifferent
