A nice, homely stay in a great Tokyo neighbourhood. The apartment is simple but had everything needed for a family stay. Great transport options, and some good dining places. Being able to walk to the gardens and cafes was delightful. Thank you

Cute apartment in quiet neighborhood
This was a nice place to stay. It was clean and quiet. Very close to a train station. Lots of restaurants and connivance stores. I would stay here again.

Japanese Gardens
Marki’s place is in a perfect location, very easy to get around with public transportation and walking distance to places to eat and shop. Her place is great, very clean and has everything you need. She was also very helpful since the beginning, available at all times whenever I had any questions. Totally recommend this place! We have saved her place for next time we visit.

Convenient, quiet location
Maki was easy to communicate with and provided check-in procedures that were easy. The apartment was a short walk away from the train station which made it easy to navigate Tokyo.

Great stay. As said previously things are dated. But perfect for us, because so easy to get around on the train. The host was amazing right from the start. Great communication and allowed us to check out a little later which was most appreciated. Thank you.

First time in Tokyo
This was my family's first time visiting Japan. Maki provided excellent instructions to navigate from the airport to her home. She was a wonderful host. I highly recommend her to anyone visiting Tokyo.

Very cool neighbourhood with easy access to Tokyo spots
We had a wonderful time in this apartment. We had our 2 daughters and one of their friends (age 20-23) with my husband and me (age 60+) The 2 rooms were cozy, and met our needs nicely with 3 mattresses for the young women, and a double bed for us. It was nice to have a fridge for snacks, breakfast, wine and beer. The neighbourhood was filled with shops, eateries and convenience markets. We were close to the train station, and could easily get around Tokyo. I highly recommend, and we will return again!

Good location, great host.
We stayed here a total of seven nights and liked the neighborhood and host. The area has several eating places as well as a supermarket. Going to Tokyo was easy. Komagome is connected to both the JR and Tokyo Metro lines so the 3 day metro pass works well. Kitchen is well equipped and one can cook if they want to. We would stay here again if we were to visit Tokyo and I would recommend this to anyone with kids who would feel cramped in a hotel room

Perfect little apartment
The apartment was spotlessly clean with an abundance of bedding and towels. The kitchen and bathroom were great, including the washing machine. Maki was the perfect host, available if we needed her at any moment. The location is fantastic for exploring Tokyo and we jumped on and off at Komagome station with ease. We are a family of 4 with 2 teenage daughters.

Lovely neighborhood!
We loved our time in Komagome. This apartment was great. It's located in a quieter part of Tokyo, but with easy access to the tourist spots. Located next to many shops and restaurants, including fruit stands where we could buy fresh fruit. Also very close to the Yamanote Line. We enjoyed having a refrigerator and laundry machine. Maki was great, gave us very good instructions about how to access the apartment and communication in English was easy. We would absolutely stay here again!

Conveniently Located
We fell in love with the Komagome neighborhood. Maki is organized and responds to all questions quickly. The kids slept well on the foldout sofas. The station is a quick walk away and gives you access to all stations on the Yamanote line. So many options for food in the neighborhood. Really recommend going to the nearby gardens, especially Rikugien. The yakitori shop right next door sells delicious food to go and is very welcoming to foreigners.

Simple stress free
Communication with owner was easy- we needed to allow for time difference with communicating- directions to get there were clear, instructions to get in was simple. Great location with easy access to train line. Loved it was close to a 7-11 for early morning coffee run (nothing is open that early). My only suggestion is to have one of the closets for guest use. Thank you for your hospitality

Apartment is great neighborhood
We stayed in the apt. For 6 days. It was clean, comfortable and felt like a home away from home. 7-11 and other restaurants were were a few steps away. Went every morning to 7-11 for my latte. A wonderful older gentleman was so nice and helped us find our way around. Maki, the apt. Owner was available if we needed help or guidance. Cannot recommend this apt and location enough. Thank you, Maki. Water pressure was awesome!

Convenient cozy and local feeling
We enjoyed staying in the apartment and the area of Komagome. As it is away from the tourist areas it feels like you are part of a local neighborhood. Highly recommend taking time to stroll through the shopping street and going to the two parks Maki notes in the apartment book. Niki’s bakery was a great breakfast stop and then enjoy it at Rikugien park. There is a small entrance fee but worth it. The apartment was clean and well stocked. Maki was always quick to respond. If you need groceries or convenience food there is a great supermarket noted in the book called Sakagami. A bit of a walk but worth it for the options and also grocery items. Easy to get to the JR train line or the subway. There isn’t much room for luggage in the bedroom but our carry on size bags were able to fit. Thank you Maki!

Very cute neighborhood outside Tokyo
Older unit. VERY compact if there are more than two people. Bathroom and kitchen are older but functional. Its a cute neighborhood, very easy to get to JR line train which takes you right into Toyko. The pictures made it seem much brighter, newer and spacious. In actuality, it is quite compact. We had a teen and tween and two adults. There was almost no room to layout and open a medium size suitcase. Towels and bed linens are older.

We loved this neighborhood!
We loved this place. The apartment is small, but perfectly functional and comfortable for our family of four (one 15 yr old and one 10 yr old) who spent our days out touring. We had 2 rooms with 2 beds each and a neat little kitchen to enjoy breakfast onigiri and coffee from the (gourmet) 7-eleven just down the street. The train was a short few minute walk through the neighborhood and gave us easy access for our day trips to Harajuku, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Disney Sea and TeamLab Planets in Toyosu. After long days, with many crowds, it was a relief to return to this lovely, quieter neighborhood, that still had plenty of restaurant and shopping options. We also appreciated that we could wash and hang our clothes to dry. Thank you Maki! You were a lovely and responsive host. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect in every way!,
This little flat is perfect! We enjoyed the location and we were only minutes from the train. We cooked, the kitchen is well equipped. The Wi-Fi was flawless and fast. Maki could not be more accommodating we had question and had responses in seconds!! We will stay again in September! The neighborhood was real cool lots of choice with in steps from the building! There was a very cool thrift shop that had a bit of everything. We ate Indian, Italian,Thai and Japanese all with in meters of our flat! If there were six stars that would be how satisfied we were! Thanks Maki!
