The staff are super welcoming and friendly. Rooms are a bit tired but the facilities make up for it. It was a perfect starter hotel for nervous newbies! We would stay again.

Just 2minutes walk from exit 7 Asakusa terminus station of Ginza subway line which is connected with Matsu Department store then you come up to ground level. The hotel is at opposite side of the road. Close to Senso Hi( Asakusa Temple). Can't be upset with shopping and dining options. Our room has great view overlooking Sumida Gawa (River Similar) and facing Skytree Tower. Staffs are friendly and courteous.

Small room facing Sumida river. Struggled with small bathroom with little counter space and required a 1 foot step up to enter and down to exit. Could hear train noise in evening. We had an excellent stay; our view of the Sumida River, Skytree, and cherry blossoms was so beautiful. Complimentary ramen in the evenings is a great way to end the day. Only wished that the hot springs hours were more convenient for women. Never got a chance to use it due to the hours. Will always stay at a Dormy Inn while in Japan. Truly a wonderful hotel.

Although the building and interior is a bit dated, this is an amazing hotel. Perfect location for visiting Asakusa sites, shopping, eating at a huge variety of eateries, and within minutes of several train stations. We booked a large room which was great for a 10-night stay. The river view in the photo is exactly what we saw outside our window - fantastic at night! Lovely river walk just below the hotel. So many extras - breakfast buffet, pubic bath, open-air foot bath, Japanese style pajamas to wear inside hotel, free ramen in the evenings, free washers and laundry soap, free massage chair, beverage vending machines. Friendly and very accommodating staff. Extra cleaning measures in place, recycling bins in laundry area, even paper envelopes to place your masks in while you eat. Absolutely recommend this hotel!

Express Dormy Inn has friendly and helpful staff. They've got everything you need, including the best feature (in my opinion) the foot bath at level 10. We get to relax and recover our overly exhausted feet from all the walking around in Tokyo. The location is good enough, walkable to many different metro operators. The only thing I don't like is the facility/building itself is quite outdated. Clean and tidy, but outdated. Which I know it could be a deal breaker for some. And the outdatedness is the reason that I took off a star out of 5. Everything else I'm quite happy with.
