"Loved our stay at Matamanoa - beautiful location, stunning beach, beautiful, well appointed bures, good snorkelling off the beach, stunning sunsets. The food was good , ample servings but could be improved with more fresh salads and fresh vegetables. The staff are absolutely wonderful and could not do enough for us. "What an amazing place! We visited a few other resorts on our trip and this was by far the best. The food was fantastic with lots of choices for my picky 6yr old. The rooms were spacious and spotless. The wildlife and snorkelling were exceptional. And the staff were genuinely warm and kind - they went over and above to make us comfortable and happy. We would love to visit again in the future :) The one thing I'd love to see them do better (not just this resort but all resorts in Fiji) is educate visitors about caring for the coral. We saw a lot of tourists stepping on and breaking the coral whilst snorkelling. I worry that the reefs won't stay pristine for long if people keep doing that. "

Even though we weren’t there as long as we’d wanted to be (due to our schedule, nothing about the hotel), the staff went out of their way to make everything spectacular. There was a special cake for my husband’s birthday dinner dessert, dinner delivered to our room after a late arrival the day we landed in Fiji, and a goodbye song the morning we left. But those were just a couple of many small touches. Staff was wonderful and friendly. We LOVED Tadrai and hope so much that we’ll be able to go back some day. "
