"The hut on the beach was beautiful. New, spacious and a good size bathroom. The property itself was very nice. Lots of snorkeling spots, sandy beaches and very pretty to walk around. The only negatives were the cost of transportation (boat) to the island was extremely pricy ($350 CAD return for 2) and the food was beyond terrible. "Çomfortabe rooms, good beds, pleasant staff. Best feature is snorkelling right off the beach. The food was excellent although choice limited on one occasion when only the full buffet dinner was availble. Chef was flexible though."

"This was our second holiday here. The food was even better than we hoped. The resort is beautiful with a decent pool, and the sea is nice to swim in. We did a snorkeling trip near the island and there was plenty of coral and fish. The resort kindly organized our transfers to get to the resort as this can look daunting to understand."

"Overall the island was very satisfying and staff were very accommodating. The food has big portion for lunch and the buffet had great selections. The only downfall i would say will be the flies. While i do understand that it is an island on its own, however when we were at the pool or having meal, we literally had to use one hand to just get the flies out of the way, this really was demotivated us in enjoying the meal . "

"If you are looking for a romantic, quiet getaway or wanting to unwind in beautiful surroundings this is the place to come. Service was outstanding, the location was stunning, Tropica Resort is a special place. Our only thing would be no WiFi in the rooms, which does make you switch off."

"The Nakelo Resort was absolutely fantastic and surprised us with so many things to do. From going on a daily boat trip to feed the fish and snorkel, to daily activities like cocktail making and feeding turtles to mini golf and tepanyaki it was the perfect place to stay with little ones. We had an amazing time and all the staff were super friendly and hospitable"

"Absolutely amazing but far too short. Even though we weren’t there as long as we’d wanted to be (due to our schedule, nothing about the hotel), the staff went out of their way to make everything spectacular. There was a special cake for my husband’s birthday dinner dessert, dinner delivered to our room after a late arrival the day we landed in Fiji, and a goodbye song the morning we left. "Staff were incredibly helpful and polite. The only downside was the cost of the meals was a little steep when converted to Canadian $. When you are forced to eat there everyday (as no other restaurants close by) this becomes quite expensive. "

"We had a great time staying at the funky fish! Accommodation worked really well for our group of young students. We also really enjoyed the food, and the drinks selection was great too! There were some really fun activities on offer, and I would definitely encourage taking advantage of these- we really enjoyed going to Cloud 9 and having a day trip to Musket Cove! "
