Definitely stay here again, staff it kind and considerate and do all they could deapite the language barrier, public transportation is good with trains and buses getting you where you want to go,,, or you can just walk,,, extremely safe place to stay
Route Inn Toki is located in close proximity to the station, restaurants and convenience stores. The hotel offers WiFi in the room and public areas for free, both of which work very well. The breakfast was good, and offers different options each day. The room was clean, and so was the public bath. For a standard business hotel it is good.
Nice place and comfortable to stay thank you for all the assistance and help more power

Not kind to muslim customers
In the room it was noisy from outside of the room or maybe the next room, I couldn’t sleep at all there until the morning.
And the breakfast buffet there’s no place to put the trays we always had to take foods by the another hand while we hold the trays it was uncomfortable.
Actually there were informations about allergic food ingredients, but no informations about halal or haram, there’s many foods including pork materials, we had to ask about it many times to the waitress.
Of course it’s a free breakfast buffet but the foods were not good taste and lack of carefulness for the muslim customers.
Or this hotel is only for Japanese buddhist customers?
This was my first stay in a Route-Inn hotel in Japan. My mother lives in Tajimi, but we couldn't find a room there, so opted for Toki. Worked out great, as it is only a 200 yen train ride to Tajimi Station. It is an affordable option for leisure travel in Japan. Clean, comfortable small rooms complete with tea pot, tea, toiletries and other accoutrements typical of a Japanese hotel at a medium budget price. The beds are "hard" compared to US hotel chains, and not as comfortable as futons on a tatami. Buffet breakfast was good and had plenty of variety. Helpful staff!
Too short. We finished our visit to Takeyama-Kurobe so it was the last night of our trip. We wanted to visit the outlet in Toki. After lunch, we took a taxi to the outlet. We only had more than a couple of hours to see a few shops we had chosen and got items we loved in almost all shops we went into. We got on a bus to Toki station at night. My friend had too much stuff and left her jacket in the hotel as she didnt want it. Later, the hotel called long distance to tell me they could send the jacket for free. This was really very kind and unexpected. We wish we had stayed for one more night. Also, good breakfast and good free coffee in the lobby.
The reception desk lady was incredibly kind. She handed me a map of the neighborhood with a lot of useful hand-written notes, gave me an envelope full of materials on the city ceramics industry and other sightseeing spots, presented a few small gifts throughout the stay, and finally even wrote a farewell letter in the Czech language.
