"Check in was not prompt, because we arrived at dinner time and the concierge was working in the dining room. I think the hotel needs to add some part time staff. Our room was small but comfortable We had some pizza in their restaurant which was good. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful despite being stretched too thin. "

"Comfortable stay nestled in a beautiful area with two gorgeous lakes in walking distance. Room was comfortable. Dinner was a bit pricy but good quality and the staff were all very kind. No vale was present to help me with my bags, which were pretty heavy walking up flights of stairs but I guess if I had asked them for help they would have asked someone to come."

"Even though it was cool outside, the room was not cooled down during the night as we couldn’t leave the balcony door open due to a lot of mosquitoes and bugs. Wish there were fans in the room! There were so MANY flies in the breakfast room and buzzing around bread and jam and such. And I’m not exaggerating at all. Wonder how clean everything is. "

"Die Vermieter waren höflich und sehr hilfsbereit, haben uns mit hilfreichen Informationen zu der Region bestens versorgt. Die Gegend eignet sich sehr gut zum Wandern und Radfahren. Mit Zug und Bus lässt sich Toggenburg entspannt erkunden. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich und zweckmäßig eingerichtet eingerichtet"

"Ein ruhiges, gepflegtes und liebevoll hergerichtetes Toggenburger Bauernhaus in dem wir mit unseren Enkeln einen schönen Skiurlaub erleben konnten!"

"This end of the road location is the perfect getaway with a farm experience. Ernest and Kathi and their son Andreas gave us a very warm welcome and a grand tour of their farm after dinner. The apartment is very roomy and we enjoyed having sufficient space. Big comfy couch to lounge, comfortable beds and a large, well equipped kitchen. A great home base for exploring the surrounding area in Eastern Switzerland. Ernest and Kathi were lovely hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them."

"It was a great place to stay. It seemed to be brand new. Easy to park the car in the back. We checked in trough a machine that gave us the card to have acces to the building and room. No ac system in the room, but it did not bother. Overall it was a great place since everything was self-service. There were at least a couple of places to go eat that were nerby. "

"Property was in a beautiful location a little out of the way but was driving so wasn’t an issue. The lady on check in was very helpful and also kindly gifted us a drinks voucher for that evening. The room was massive, even had a sitting area, very clean, slightly dated but for what we paid found it very good value for money. Would highly recommend this hotel."

"Eine schöne Wohnung mit guter Ausstattung - wir konnten sogar Raclette machen! Unsere Gastgeber waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Auch im Vorfeld war der Kontakt per Email unprblematisch und zuverlässig. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, oberhalb vom Dorf gelegen und ideal zum Erholen. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen."

We enjoyed waking up to the melodious sound of cowbells in the morning. If we could have stayed longer, we would have! Things we enjoyed seeing while in Stein SG: The windy drive to Arosa with the beautiful view down the valley A boat ride on the Wallensee to have lunch in Quinten. A visit to the Schwägalp A...

A great stay at the Dolder Grand

"Can’t overstate how great sour experience was. Room was wonderful, sizable, and very comfortable. Service staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The concierge gave us some great tips and even followed up with us after we left to see if we needed recommendations for the rest of the cities in our trip. Truly an exceptional experience. "
