"I do not often write reviews, but this hotel was exceptional. At first glance the neighborhood (right behind the main train station in Munich) seemed a little dicey, but it was very safe and also very quiet. The staff were friendly and professional. The hotel doesn’t nickel and dime you for things like bottled water and coffee and stowing your luggage after checkout. Checkout time was a convenient 11 am. The location was excellent for downtown touring and Christmas market. There were also bus, subway, train, and tram connections very closeby. Restaurants, a drugstore, and a grocery store were all nearby as well. The beds were comfy; the bathroom was clean, as were hallways, elevator, and lobby. They have the genius idea of giving you a coupon for a drink in their bar in return for skipping room cleaning. I loved that because we could still get fresh towels and morning coffee, received a free drink (made by someone who knew how to mix and serve drinks), and we felt better about not having to ask a hard-working individual to clean up after our vacationing selves on a daily basis. "

"Great hotel, great staff, within walking distance from basically everything important in Munich! It’s right next to the main train station, separated by hotel’s courtyard. The immediate area surrounding the hotel is not the greatest due to the proximity to the central station, however, it’s very safe and secure. Staff are excellent and in any imaginable way professional. House keeping was hit and miss and inconsistent depending on who’s shift it was… Some days we returned to a room with replenished toiletries and coffee/tea, fresh towels, chocolates on nightstands, water bottles, etc., and some days only beds were made and used towels were collected -nothing else done. "

"Started here one night and it was perfect for us. Great location easily accessible from the highways. 10 mins by taxi to the heart of Munich. The rooms are a good size with nice bathrooms. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great."

"It's a Westin so you know what you are getting right off. Hotel is very clean and the staff were top notch. Parking was very easy albeit not cheap. The hotel is located 100 yards from the subway and it's only 4 or 5 stops to the town center. It's a very nice hotel but not centrally located if you want to walk to the town, you will need to take the train, but it's very close and only a few Euro's to get you there. There's limited dining options around the hotel but there is a Paulaner restaurant located within the building which offers a great menu. It does close early though so be sure to get in before it closes. Would we stay here again? Yes. Very comfortable bed and very clean room. For guests that are driving it's a good spot to stay."
