"Not happy as the owner charged an additional $10 per day for the days we had 3 adults and 2 kids. She charged this for the whole 20 days not just for the first 10 days the 3rd adult was there. My son-in law stayed only for the first 10 days then returned home to Alaska. I even offered to send a copy of his return flight to prove when he left as she said she could not trust what I said. "I loved staying at Casa Arena! The studio is new, very spacious, and had everything I needed for my stay. The Welcome Book included great recommendations for nearby restaurants and activities like hiking and yoga, and it's just a 5 minute walk to the beach! It was so nice to wake up to the sounds of birds in the morning. As a woman traveling alone I appreciated that the complex where the studio is located is secure - I felt very safe. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Spectacular location. Spacious 1 bedroom right across from the ocean. For the price you can’t get anything better. Host was great. Only downside was that there was no hot tub. Very clean, minimal design and bathroom linens, but had everything you need. Right by the turtle sanctuary. In January, we saw whales, manta rays, and baby turtles daily. Would definitely stay there again."

We very much enjoyed the cooking class and the private chef’s dinner while there. You can easily walk to the beach from the property if you don’t mind a little hill.
