"Not a traditional hotel as such, best described as blocks of bedsit type rooms with access to a bar and restaurant. The rooms come complete with job, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Our room was furthest from the restaurant, fortunately it was lovely weather, you would get a soaking if raining walking to breakfast. The room (712) was spacious, clean and very quiet. "The only criticism we had was that there needed to be a better placed grab rail over the bath, the rail provided would be great to get out of the bath but was too low to be of use as support if you have a shower. But well done for supplying an anti slip mat for the bath. Other than that we had a lovely time."

"We really enjoyed the location of the property - very easily walkable to Oxford city centre (either on a pavement by the main road or along the river) - around 10-15mins but in a quieter and secluded location. "A nice hotel, about 25 min walk (or bus ride) from the city centre. Rooms were comfortable, the double bed was quite small but fine for one person. Breakfast was good value with a range of hot and cold options. Parking was available (for an extra fee) but it was a good base for a weekend away."

"A fabulous stay in a well-appointed (and beautifully-decorated) room! The location was excellent, a short walk from all the historic sights, and I very much appreciated the ample wardrobe storage and the kitchenette. Fantastic Hotel in the centre of Stratford

"Fantastic Hotel in the centre of Stratford. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. We stayed in room 706 which was a Premium King room which was huge and had all the amenities you could ask for. Snacks & drinks (including beer and cider) in the room all included in the price. Will definitely return. Great value for money. "

Lovely character hotel in great location.

"A lovely hotel full of character. Our room was clean, had a new bathroom and overlooked the beautiful garden too which was a bonus. Breakfast was a perfect spread of cooked food and continental. Staff were all very friendly. Location is perfect, right in the town centre and an added bonus of free parking! Loved my stay."

"All good with my 3 night stay originally booked with two bookings checked in Friday and staff sorted so I managed to stay even in the same room for the duration of my stay even though the hotel was very busy over the weekend didn’t use restaurant or bar so can’t comment I have used this hotel before and would use it again "
