"The first night I was there, I could smell the smoke from the nearby smoking room, each time it was used. The second day, the staff moved me to a room on the other half of the floor, which I very much appreciated. I took a downgrade in bed size, but I could live with that. "There are two rooms in total, one is mixed room and the other is female room. Since my friend and I were the only guests that day, the owner treated us very good and very willing to provide information about nikko to us! And the hostel is quite close to JR and tobu station. We visited there in winter, and it was snowing, but inside the hostel was very warm, heaters and warm water bags were provided. I must stay there next time when travel to nikko."
