"The pictures were n the sight are deceiving,the property was damp and dirty and we could not stay in it,apparently it was cleaned two weeks prior to our stay,cleaning should have been done the day before,the owner was very uncooperative,and has not issued a refund ,indeed he has ignored my request"

"A very enjoyable few days. Did not walk far as Mum(94) was in a wheelchair, which necessitated driving anywhere. Lamps in bunkbed room need looking at and guttering need cleaning out. Lovely waterfalls with the heavy rain. Would certainly reccommend it as a base in the area."

"A great comfortable lodge, ideal location for exploring North Devon and the surrounding countryside. The lodge itself was situated next to a lake which provided lots of wildlife to see both during the day and early evening whilst relaxing in the hot tub. We’ll definitely re-visit and stay here."

We hebben elke dag gewandeld in de schitterende omgeving, waarbij we tussen de middag genoten van een heerlijke lunch in een van de vele pubs. We zijn deze week verliefd geworden op de UK en komen zeker terug. (Behalve als door een eventuele Brexit het weer moeilijk wordt om onze hond mee te nemen...)"
