"Von Puntagorda aus läßt sich die Insel gut mit Tagestouren erkunden. Für Wanderer ein günstiger Ausgangspunkt. Die Unterkunft ist einfach, aber sauber, großzügig und alles, was benötigt wird ist vorhanden. Einkaufen und Restaurant sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Die deutschen Vermieter sind nett und unkompliziert. Alles in allem eine klare Empfehlung."

"Not at all as expected; please be careful We decided we could not stay - and let them keep the money. We are 73 yrs old and we could stomach the offer. Only one room (and that quite small) and the main picture on the web offer was of a different property. No cooking facilities whatsoever. No fridge. No heating whatsoever. (and it was freezing!). One de-humidifer, indicated the dampness. No TV When we got there a sort of all-day market was taking place right outside our door, people were...

"We enjoyed our stay very much. It's a wonderful place to relax and forget the hassle and bustle of the city. We couldn't believe how quite it is. The cave is very cosy and comfortable and has everything you need. We felt very much at home. Grit, our host was very helpful and easy going. It's a great base for trips and hikes, but you definitely need a car. The steep road down to the property is a bit of an adventure, but you get used to it."

"Met by the owner who was delightful. She had kindly organised some groceries for us as requested. The property was scrupulously clean and beautifully designed and appointed. The beds are very comfortable and an abundance of towels is provided. The villa was very warm because of underfloor heating throughout. The gardens are lovely. This is a very private location with fantastic views. A car is essential."
