"We enjoyed having several bedrooms and bathrooms. We would have liked a few more large bowls and pots for cooking since our group likes to cook most of our meals when staying somewhere. We had roughly 10 people there and it was difficult to get everyone around one table. Enjoyed the hottub and the outdoor space a lot. The internet was more than enough, it roughly 100 mbps download for reference. A plus for most of us was the lack of cell service, so we could disconnect and enjoy our time. "

"The house set in the middle of mostly pine trees provided much quietness and relaxation. The hot tub was perfect after our long days of hiking. The kitchen was well stocked with the necessary cooking and dining supplies. The house was large enough that 8 adults were never in each other’s way. The only downside to our visit was that our destinations either to the various tourist areas or to the closest town for groceries took minimally 30 minutes, so one needs to plan accordingly. "An amazing little town with such an adorable lodge at the heart of it. The owner was so sweet and kind. This was our favorite stay throughout our 8 day cross country trip from VA to WA."

"Place was quiet and clean and convenient to Custer State Park. Lots of deer, turkeys, etc around the property and Forest Service trails are just across the road. Be aware this is not a separate cabin, it is a unit in a building of three units so you will likely have neighbors. That was not at all clear from the online listing. Fortunately it was not a big issue during our trip, but it could be if neighbors are loud or have lots of kids."
