"We have always wanted to take our 2 dogs to the beach so when we decided to celebrate our 30 yr. wedding anniversary at the beach, we looked for a place that would allow dogs. And I’m here to tell you we found the absolute best place - the Salty Dog Cottage. The owners Wendy & Mark were so friendly and helpful and they truly made our stay perfect! From the fresh flowers and dog treats when we entered the cottage, to the book on the counter explaining how everything worked and where everything is. It was so clean and decorated so pretty, Wendy also gave great recommendations for places to eat and go in the area - she truly thought of everything. We have been coming to Myrtle Beach since the mid 80’s and this was our first stay in Cherry Grove. It quickly became our favorite area - we cannot wait to go back. I would highly recommend staying at the Salty Dog Cottage - literally the best cottage we ever rented from and we look forward to staying there in the future. We loved our stay there so much - truly the best! "
