Incredible Family Getaway Home With Boat Dock

Welcome to Carolyn’s Cottage on the Lake! This is a beautiful fully furnished 3 BR, recently (spring 2021) updated four season home on the north end of Lake George in historical Ticonderoga. Bring your boat and enjoy spending time on the crystal clear waters swimming, fishing, water skiing or just cruising around. (Boat dock included with rental.) Nice quiet location and gorgeous views from the large deck to enjoy your morning coffee and family cookouts. We highly encourage repeat guests.

Beautiful and Relaxing Vacation!
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful lakeside get away. The house is perfect with comfy bedrooms, well furnished kitchen, and a great water view deck with swing (my favorite!) dining table and chairs, and cool breezes where we enjoyed our morning coffee and afternoon glass of wine! Lots to see and do nearby or just spend time kayaking and playing in the lake. Erin is a wonderful host and very easy to communicate with. Five stars for sure!

Stayed here multiple times with family and friends and always have a great time. Erin is always very responsive if anything is needed, and the neighbors are like the friends you’ve known for years. Looking forward to going back next year!

The cottage (more so a complete home) was beautiful and very comfortable. Great location on the lake - peaceful and serene. My wife and I enjoyed our stay immensely. I have been enjoying Lake George for 47 of my 48 years and this was one of the best stays there ever!

The cottage and lake were exactly as advertised. It would have been nice to know that most area attractions and restaurants were closed Mon-Wed which were the days we were there. If you go I would recommend going over the weekend.

Relaxing Retreat
This house exceeded our expectations. We were two couples in our 30s looking to relax for a long weekend on the lake. The house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. It’s in a beautiful and peaceful location on Lake George. We took advantage of the kayaks and canoes, spending lots of time out on the water. The neighbors are so friendly, it was a treat to feel so welcomed. Erin was super responsive and very easy to communicate with. We would love to come back here as it was one of our favorite trips to date. Thank you for opening your family home, Erin!

When we arrived everything was clean but dishwasher was full of dirty dishes.No big deal we just ran dishwasher.Full disclosure we forgot run dishwasher when we left. Suggest telling future renters with boats that coming from north end of lake is alot easier than coming up Rt 9N over the mountain. All in all was trip Thank you

Fantastic lakeside property
Just a phenomenal experience with the owner. I am in the army and I booked this property over a year prior. Then I got deployment orders. The owner corresponded to my wife all the time. The property- according to my wife- was immaculate and extremely comfortable. My wife especially enjoyed watching sunsets from the back deck.

Great family getaway
Excellent communication with the property owner who made this so easy and was very welcoming and hospitable. She made us feel like family (the favorite relatives, not the dreaded third cousins!) LOL! The cottage was beautifully decorated and immaculate. You could tell her housekeeper isn’t a rookie by the attention to detail. We loved kayaking, bonfires and grilling on the deck. A slice of heaven. Thanks Erin!

Beautiful and Peaceful place
This house was excellent. We all loved it. It was nicer than advertised and shown in the pictures. Everything looked recently updated, and was immaculate. The house was nicely decorated and furnished and the kitchen was well stocked. The location was so quiet and peaceful. Not a lot of boat traffic or noise in this northern most part of the lake. We fished from the dock, enjoyed a fire in the fire pit, and also utilized the dock for a pontoon boat rental from Snug Harbor which is almost visible from the house. I just wish we had booked a longer stay. There was a Super Walmart only about 5 min away which was very convenient. The owner was also very friendly and quick to respond. We hope to be back next summer, and will definitely stay longer.

Perfect lake getaway
Our family of 4 absolutely loved our stay at Carolyn's cottage. Super quiet lake front location that we thoroughly enjoyed. The neighbors were super friendly and even let our kids use some of their water toys. Air conditioning worked great in the bedrooms. Loved the extra space and bathroom in the basement. We enjoyed a fire pit one night, got the wood a couple mins down the road for $5 a bundle. We had fun fishing off the dock, caught a few blue gill that we threw back. The water is shallow and clear but bottom is sludge. Didn't bother us at all. Took 2 day trips to Lake George (about an hour drive) and enjoyed 2 days at the house and touring Ticonderoga. Fort Ticonderoga was fun and educational for adults and kids. Super Walmart super close for anything you need. We enjoyed breakfast at Hot Biscuit diner and the atmosphere at Burleigh's Luncheonette was great. There's a cute gift shop a few steps away that we loved, lots of unique apparel and souvenirs. Delivery from House of Pizza was great too...the pickle pizza is surprisingly good! Would absolutely return here again!

Nice get away spot.
Very clean and well kept home. Kitchen has plenty of pots and pans and plates etc for making meals. The back deck was lovely and hasa nice swing and comfortable chairs and a large table. Great spot to vacation!.lwasmucky bu
