"It’s the second time we’ve stayed. The first time in July so it was lovely to see a period Inn decked out for Christmas. We met with locally placed relatives for dinner which was lovely. Staff all friendly, especially Yvonne who does the breakfast shift and settled our bill. The Inn has great views and an enjoyable experience overall."

Food was delicious - we ate at the hotel for dinner - having the 'pigs' in blanket sharing starter and then both steak pies. Next morning - breakfast was great - although there was no 'bacon' for us - the server compensated by offering us additional sausages - so it wasn't too much of a disappointment. "

"Stayed here in 2023 and excellent once again. Lovely room 1 Pen-y-gent the walk in shower i wish i could take home. Plenty of tea coffee in room and toiletries. Had steak and ale pie with veg and chips. Big chunks of tender meat in luscious gravy, chips were home made and not the usual frozen ones! Meal was excellent. The boiler was on but the radiator didn't work on either day of my visit. 2 heaters were provided, but the person in charge wasn't aware of the issue with the boiler/radiator, which was poor in my view."
