"This was an ideal place for us to stay - short trip to visit family in the area. We like the convenience of a kutchen to make tea, coffee and quick snacks. Location was ideal and the host was lovely - so friendly. Suite had everything we needed, plus extra touches such as toiletries and tea and coffee were provided. "

"Property exactly as ahown in pictures. Setting is absolutely gorgeous. Coastal Nova Scotia at it's best. Highly recommend it.4 star for check in as house # is very difficult to see.Look for house #'s 32/34 across the street to get your bearings as they are very visible."

"We stayed in the Gallery House this past weekend for two nights and had a fantastic visit. Close enough to the city that bad weather would not have stopped us from getting there, far enough away from the city that it was very quiet and we could hear the ocean waves on the rocks and see all the beautiful stars. "Our stay wasn't bad, I only have two complaints: It was a bit chilly in the basement And the volume on the tv didn't turn up, i had to read the subtitles because i couldn't hear it. The host was very easy to get ahold of, he responded right away when i messaged him. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, bus stop very close."

"The location was good and the kitchen was well stocked in as far as dishes, cutlery, towels,laundry detergent etc The place needs a good cleaning! The chair in the living room needs to be cleaned as it had a bad odor. The downstairs bathroom especially. Lots of missing light bulbs making the place dark. "Halifax was a beautiful destination. Lots to see and do. Took car trips up the Atlantic coast and saw quaint fishing villages, and towns that suffered through different maritime disasters. It was nice to have an accommodation that we could use as a hub for all our adventures. Museums were informative and plentiful. All in all we had a wonderful trip. "

"Very poor communication, access to the suite would be very difficult if not impossible for anyone with any kind of mobility issues. The people occupying the unit above were very loud. I would strongly NOT recommend staying here. As such , I checked out two days earlier and stayed elsewhere. "

"My husband and I traveled from Victoria to meet up with relatives from the U.K to explore Atlantic Canada. We found Paulette and her accommodations a great place to start our adventures. Centrally located we were able to walk to many local attractions, including Halifax Harbour. Place worked out great for the five of us and definitely would stay again. "The place we stayed was a little bit away from the convenience. It was too far for walking since bus stop was distantly away. Fortunately we got rides and didn't need bus transportation. Overall the place met our satisfaction since it was in a quiet area and we only stayed for few hours for sleeping each day. "
