"The location was good and the kitchen was well stocked in as far as dishes, cutlery, towels,laundry detergent etc The place needs a good cleaning! The chair in the living room needs to be cleaned as it had a bad odor. The downstairs bathroom especially. Lots of missing light bulbs making the place dark. "There was mould and bugs. We didn’t stay because it would have been unhealthy. Had to leverage my visa support for a refund. This place is disgraceful - stay clear. "

"We stayed in the Gallery House this past weekend for two nights and had a fantastic visit. Close enough to the city that bad weather would not have stopped us from getting there, far enough away from the city that it was very quiet and we could hear the ocean waves on the rocks and see all the beautiful stars. "The place we stayed was a little bit away from the convenience. It was too far for walking since bus stop was distantly away. Fortunately we got rides and didn't need bus transportation. Overall the place met our satisfaction since it was in a quiet area and we only stayed for few hours for sleeping each day. "

"My husband and I traveled from Victoria to meet up with relatives from the U.K to explore Atlantic Canada. We found Paulette and her accommodations a great place to start our adventures. "Scott’s place was the perfect anchor for us to explore so much of Nova Scotia. We are all from California and there was so much to see and appreciate. The country was amazing, And Scott was the best host possible. We asked him about firewood, and he showed up that day and chopped some more for us. The house couldn’t have been more welcoming, functional or beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful time. "

"Halifax was a beautiful destination. Lots to see and do. Took car trips up the Atlantic coast and saw quaint fishing villages, and towns that suffered through different maritime disasters. It was nice to have an accommodation that we could use as a hub for all our adventures. Museums were informative and plentiful. All in all we had a wonderful trip. "

"Staying at this property was an amazing experience. The property was adorable with an incredible view of the harbor. The property owners were so welcoming and hospitable. When we return to Halifax we will definitely book with this property owner. "
