She was out of town for all our stay but the last day, & that's OK. She said we could use her washer once she returned for a cost of 5 euros. "Other than being really really hot in the summer, this house was lovely. The cleanest of all the houses we stayed in during our European tour. If you stay here, you MUST visit Puy du Fou, an absolutely AMAZING medieval amusement park. The owner was nice, the house is a very small upper apartment, but serviceable. Supermarket w/in 5 minutes, boulangerie within 10. A few eateries in the vicinity (and more coming). Despite being near the RR tracks, quiet quiet (slept with the windows open during the heat wave). Also, (we were 5 women one male) no fears expressed about safety. Walking into the "happening" areas (and train station)...

The property was very clean and they catered for all needs, tea, coffee, water etc in the room and I even got a recipe for a wonderful courgette marmalade. The property is not too far from Vitre which is a beautiful town and definitely worth a visit."
