"Lovely charming pub with much history. Recently refurbished rooms were very nice, spacious and comfortable. Plenty of refreshments in room plus daily water. Pub food was lovely and normal pub prices. Breakfast was also lovely and the staff very welcoming. Our only complaint as such was that once your order for hot food breakfast or dinner is taken, it can take between 40-60 minutes to atrive. "We were in Bedale to attend the Middleham Open Day. It was a perfect base for us.The cottage was absolutely perfect. A real home from home.
