Southern Il. Lodge with a View and a pond

Guests will have access to full lodge with 6 beds and 2 baths. With a fully stocked kitchen, guests can cook their own meals and spend quality time together. This property is perfect for families who want a little break from the hustle and bustle of every day life or a group of friends! With a screened in porch there's plenty of opportunity to enjoy the peace and quiet this space offers! The lodge is up stairs. The pond, and driveway are shared with another vacation rental.

Guests will need to walk up stairs to access the property. Fishing is allowed in the pond as is keeping the fish caught. This 6 bedroom is approximately 1500 square feet and was originally designed as a hunting cabin. There is another vacation rental on the property the driveway is shared. There is a charcoal grill available for this property

This is a country setting so please remember wild animals may be present.

Swimming is not allowed in the pond. Pets are allowed, but guest will responsible for all clean up and repairs.

QUIET and relaxing!
This is a quiet cabin in the country which was the perfect base to visit Shawnee National Forest from. It had A/C, WIFI, and QUIET which are all the things I was looking for. My husband and I enjoyed our stay, and our hosts were great to bring over a new coffee maker when the one in the cabin stopped working. It was a nice and relaxing trip with easy access to dining and scenery. Really enjoyable.

Quiet Rural Experience
The property fully met our needs. Rustic and lots of space for the dogs to run.

No Mans Land
Location was definitely off the beaten path, it took ne 30 minute after we arrived to get a code to enter in a pouring rain. Once inside the refrigerator freezer wasn't clean, the linen on the bed had pet hair on it, 1 garbage bag and now windows in the bedroom's except one.
