"An excellent place to stay prior to catching the Caen ferry. The hotel was easily accessed, with a large secure parking area Very welcoming with a comfortable room and a good breakfast was available. There is a very large Le Clerc close by with a restaurant which provided a good evening meal and an opportunity to get items to take home. "

"Etape Zen is a quaint, quiet and tranquil retreat, and the owners make you feel so welcome. There was plenty of parking space, and a lovely garden. Breakfast was a typical continental breakfast, and there was enough. The Marcel Proust museum is 2 minutes downte road."

"The reception staff were very helpful. We had several ‘challenges’- the heater in the bathroom only stayed on for 1 minute, the hairdrier did not work, the room was very clean when we arrived but daily room service was poor- only made the bed and changed the towels. The cups were not changed and the floor was not cleaned (we stayed for 4 nights. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very poor value for €9. We were happy with the location because we enjoy walking so walked into the town to eat- the walk around the lake would be lovely in the daylight!"

The pool is definitely the highlight at it is very well maintained and is heated which means it can be used for the whole family. Geanina is an amazing host who responds promptly to requests and is really helpful in making your stay perfect. There is a good supermarket (Intermarche) within 10 mins drive and also an amazing patisserie and boulangerie (Aux Co'Pains Gourmands)."

"Stayed for one night on journey heading South. Clean and comfortable hotel room. Evening meal was very good but with a limited menu, especially for vegetarian friends we were with. Good position with plenty of parking and small garden. Our dog enjoyed the stay as well ! Have also booked for our return journey."
