"Very spacious and nicely decorated room with lovely cottage gardens. Very comfortable bed and great radiator heating in the bedroom and bathroom. Given the historical nature of the building it is in very good condition. The only issue I found was the lack of sound insulation between the rooms but appreciate it be hard to fix this however getting woken in the middle of the night with guests next door talking wasn’t great. I however know which rooms to book in future to avoid this issue....

"Lake Hawea is stunning. Sitting on the deck of our large canvas tent, glass of wine in hand looking up at the night sky was fabulous. The tent was very comfortable and well set up. The only negative being the walk to the loo in the middle of the night. "

"Quiet, spacious and comfortable room only a few minutes drive from the town centre of Arrowtown. A more modern heater inside the bedroom would have been great, but otherwise would recommend this motel for a short stay."

"Great location close to many restaurants and shops. Parking available on-site or just nearby the hotel if the carpark was full. Room wasn't huge but was comfortable enough for a short stay. Staff were helpful and accommodated our late check-in. Would recommend staying here if you are passing through Wanaka."

"Had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Room was bigger than most we've stayed in NZ. Wish our stay could have been longer. Mark at the front desk is so helpful! Hot tubs up in the trees above the motel are a nice touch (private and reserve ahead). Would definitely stay again!"

" The garage has internal access and have washing machine and dryer in the garage. Big garden and good size accommodation. We just stayed one day but it's good place for long stay! "

Beautiful view, lots of space

"We had a pleasant and comfortable stay here. The view of the lake from our room was wonderful! Our place was very spacious and offered many amenities which we greatly appreciated. The front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. We were rather disappointed that our place was not serviced despite our leaving out a door tag requesting service. There were sufficient towels for our two-night stay so we didn’t want to quibble but it would have been nice to have had a little clean up while we were out for the day."
