"Nice, cosy hotel, near Wittmund. While there is a limited window to eat at the hotel (18:00-19:00), the buffet was good value and there is a resonable bar, which stays open until around 21:00. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I experienced a non-functioning TV, but this was resolved very quickly by the owner. There was a coach party staying, generally pensioners. Was ala Also thought I'd booked half board onlyr to find I had to pay again Over all I pa id Hotel £ 191 Extra € 220 The room was substandard Photos of the bar are misleading The pool is public and had to pay for parking. "Easy check in and out. All rooms accessible due to a lift. Bathroom wonderful albeit low water pressure on the shower. Comfy bed, coffee machine and pads supplied. I had a room facing out front, which was very light at night and cars driving over cobbles are a little noisy. Windows and curtains closed and then no problem. Might have a room facing out back again next time so I can sleep with open window. Breakast is awesome. Good variety of food and drink and scrambled or fried eggs on request. Yoy cannot go wrong with this hotel. It is central to the town with many restaurants and shops in walking distance."

"The owner was very helpful and accommodated my late arrival! Good and clean room and shower. The breakfast was excellent and the room bright and airy. Friendly staff. Also great to be able to have a drink with a selection of choices from a fridge. Convenient location close to railway station and town."
