review of our stay
on arrival there was a broken cot and unsuitable unsafe high chair for the baby. this took time to resolve but we were given a replacement. seemingly the cot and the highchair came at an extra cost even though it states on the website that they are included in the amenities. i believe we were also to be charged for the 2 replacement sunloungrers as there were originally only 5 between the 7 adults. the 2 broken ones were outside the villa for disposal when we arrived. from booking to pre arrival the commncation was good and we were able to get into the villa earlier than 4pm which was a bonus. Shame about our arrival experience. location of the villa is quite good and the kitchen is fully equipped. Pool needs attention with missing tiles and sharp chipped tiles on the edge of the steps.

Great location
A nice place to stay - great location, just 10 mins walk into Moraira. Pool is superb and the grounds are plentiful and nice. The only few reasons we couldn't give it a 5* rating is that its quite tired. The matresses were poor unfortunately, and whilst its clean and tidy, the property is rather in need of some repairs and updates. Nothing that stopped us from enjoying the villa, but little things like missing lightbulbs (lots of failed units left lying around), cracked switches and a few missing tiles in the pool. It just needs a little money spending on it to be a 5/5. Still very enjoyable villa and well worth renting.

Wonderful Family Holiday
Stayed as a large family group, 6 adults with 4 children ages from 10 weeks to 10 years. Absolutely perfect for our needs. Outside bbq and dining area was great, and generally there was plenty of room for us all. The young ones really enjoyed the pool.. Just the right distance from beach/town/shops, easily walkable although the upward gradient to the Villa is a real “lung opener” if you’re carrying bags of shopping home! Only negative, and it’s the only reason we can’t score the Villa as a perfect 5 was the faulty air conditioning throughout most the Vila. Although we were assured this would be fixed as we arrived it was still faulty as we left.. Having said that, I would recommend the Villa to similar groups to ours, and have no hesitation in rebooking if the air con issue was resolved.

Great space, indoors and outdoors. Well equipped. Very good location for an easy walk into Moraira. Great size pool, though a bit deep and, even in June, rather cold when getting in (any solar heating didn’t seem very effective) - no doubt an excellent temperature if staying in July or August. We’ve been going to Moraira for a number of years and obviously like it very much. The main blight on an otherwise lovely and relatively peaceful little town is the increasing presence of the Saxo club, whose daily music echoes right up the valley into the main residential areas.

Villa - good size, lovely grounds, terraces, and pool. Good for eating outside. Very good kitchen, master suite and bathrooms. Ground floor apartment (separate to main villa) very good too. Housekeeper very responsive if any issues. Electricity consumed is billed for separately which I didn’t realise until housekeeper took me to witness meter reading. Moraira has plenty of places to eat and up the hill from the villa is a supermarket (Algi) and a couple of bars that serve food Bariloche was good. In Moraira the Enzo restaurant was very good, very accommodating Dutch host. Our party was 7 adults, 1 child and 1 infant and we had a lovely week here inMay 2019

What a great place for family and friends to stay! The villa is large and perfectly laid out so that everyone had plenty of space to relax and with beautiful terraces you can catch the sun or shade at any time of the day. Pool was a nice distance from the house and very private, great temperature and lots of fun...we had a four year old with us and it felt very safe for him too. Nice walk to the beach and town, about 15 minutes, plenty of bars and restaurants although as we went late September it was quite quiet later in the evening. Lovely walks along the coast with lots of opportunities to stop and have a coffee and admire the view, the coastal train was perfect for little one too! Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and shops were close by for supplies, obviously you pay more for local but there is a Lidl and Carrefour a couple of miles out of town but you need a car to get there. The villa was everything we had hoped for and made for a great family holiday, can't wait to go back...Lovely Lovely!! If we had to make any comments that were negative they would be.... Hand soap in the bathroom, dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent and more tea towels would be helpful! There was extra bedding but no covers, so didn't feel comfortable using them. Wish we'd known that any unopened packages of food would be donated to a food bank, we had just thrown it all away :( Many thanks, the Shaw family and friends XXXXXXXX

8 Guests stayed at this villa in September. We had a great week. The villa was well presented and had all the amenities you need for a great family holiday. A short pleasant walk into Moraira which is a beautiful location for a relaxing break with the family. Jutta the owner was very quick to respond on any questions we had when booking this villa & we would recommend it.

Beautiful Villa in Moraira close to beach and all amenities!
Our two families (8 people) stayed in this truly beautiful villa in August this year, the Villa had plenty of space for us all and we even think we could have brought another couple to sleep in the downstairs self contained apartment and still had ample room! The pool area was clean and spacious with plenty of beds, the outdoor shaded kitchen area was perfect for lunches and evening bbq's or just to get out of the sun for a bit but still being close to the pool. We had breakfast on the large terrace table next to the house most mornings and all outdoor eating areas had plenty of seats for us all it was just lovely. The house itself was also very well kitted out with everything you could possibly need to cook/eat drink with. Lovely views from the front room. The garden even has a little swing! Moraira itself is stunning, we stayed for two weeks and still didn't see all of it that we wanted to see so we will definitely be coming back. The location of the villa is perfect it's about a 10-15 minute walk to supermarkets, restaurants and the beach, the harbour is a little further on but worth the extra 5 minutes or so. There are hundreds of restaurants to choose from! We particularly loved the ice cream parlour and cocktail bar and a little restaurant that served yummy authentic tapas!! The villa is up a hill so perhaps not suitable for everyone. Every evening there was a little tourist market amongst the restaurants and on a Friday there is a HUGE market - definitely worth a visit!! There is also a little fun fair mainly for the younger kids but worth a visit if you have a little one. The beach was very pretty and clean, with pedlows and a fun assault course in the sea for the bigger kids, it was quite a small beach with rock pools at either end to go hunting for baby crabs or fish but despite its size we didn't find it too over crowded considering it was August. The only criticism I have is that we only found the information book in a cupboard on the day we came home! there is only one full length mirror in the villa (I needed one too!) and the fridge freezer is a bit temperamental but there is also a chest freezer it just took us awhile to realise we should be using this instead!. Despite those tiny points we have had one of the best holidays ever and will definitely be coming back to Moraira, a fantastic villa in a fantastic location. Thank you Jutta! You have been so kind and helpful right from booking to even after we got back

Insgesamt ein schönes großes Haus mit großem Pool. Ausstattung etwas in die Jahre gekommen, es hat aber alles was wir brauchten funktioniert. Teilweise etwas muffiger Geruch im Souterrain. Der Garten könnte etwas mehr Pflege vertragen, die Pflanzen waren z. T. vertrocknet und wir mussten erstmal alles fegen. Lage ist gut, fußläufig zum Ort und Strand.

Très belle et grande maison avec de multiples terrasses ! Un gros coup de cœur pour la cuisine extérieure et la superbe piscine. Service de nettoyage de la piscine dans la semaine.. Le village de Moreira correspond plus à une petite station balnéaire pas trop d authenticité mais , elle dispose de très belles plages et criques.

Beautiful villa, great location, but lack of maintenance and service
This villa is absolutely gorgeous and a perfect fit for a large family. Lots of different spaces (inside and outside) to relax. Next to that, the location is just perfect. Away from the bustle, but close enough to walk down to Moraira. We do recommend to rent a car to explore the coast and its lovely towns. We do need to mention the following in fairness for future guests: 1. Make sure you ask for instructions. We only found out there was supposed to be an instructions guide upon check out. The host who checked us in, never presented this to us. Therefore we missed valuable information and due to this, we were charged extra cleaning charges. We have let the owner know, but please be aware. 2. The fridge in this house has been an issue and by reading other reviews, apparently this has been an issue for some time. The fridge is somehow broken and doesn't do a proper job anymore. The first days it constantly beeped, even throughout the night, which woke us up. After getting the fridge 'fixed', it leaked for te rest of our stay and te door didn't close properly anymore. We advised the owner to buy a new fridge.

superbe maison typique espagnol .tres bien equipée et avec tout le confort.
Nous etions 9 et nous sommes arrivées dans une superbe maison climatisée, bien située dans moraira, avec tout le confot necessaire, un jardin magnifique,et une belle piscine.Un patiot géant qui nous a permis d'etre a l'ombre a n'importe qu'elle moment de la journée. L'acceuil a été tres bien et tout etait propre a notre arrivée. le service super rapide lorsque que nous avons eu un petit probleme technique avec la piscine. rien a redire sur cette villa sans aucun vis a vis et au calme que je recommanderais sans soucis.

Jammer!!!
de correspondentie verliep prima,maar bij aankomst rook de woning muf,de airco functioneerde niet en wij hadden gedacht dat het zwembad was verwarmd ( solar )maar helaas was dat niet het geval. Wij vonden het koud .het linnen goed was karig . De dame die hethuisopende was niet vriendelijk en er was drie dagen geen WiFi,na lang aandringen kwam het matig qua strekte op gang. Omdat de airco het nietdeed in de huiskamer liet ik het zonnescherm zaken om het wat koeler te houden,deze was gescheurd,rechts aan de rand van de luifel ik naam direct een foto,maar bij thuis komst werd de borg niet terug gestort ik zou namelijk het zonnescherm vernield hebben. Niet redelijk ikhad bewijs dat het zo was bij opendraaien. Bij thuis komst direct gereageerd op het inhouden van de borg maar dit keer kwam de reactie niet. Kortom een mooi huis maar de staat van onderhoud en de service en klantvriendelijkheid is een vette ONVOLDOENDE. ADVIES NIET HUREN! Er staat genoeg te huur in Moraira.
