"The property is beautiful and the setting is stunning with amazing views out to sea. Be prepared for the 15 min drive up small mountain roads from Alassio, lots of blind corners and hair-pin bends which mean you don’t pop out for milk etc easily. The property manager is on site and is helpful if you need beach or shopping suggestions. The facilities at the property are good and our children (8,11,13) loved the pool. There is however a lot of concern from the property manager about noise...

"Wir waren 10 Tage im schönen Haus von Pier für unser MTB Trainingslager zur Vorbereitung auf die Rennsaison. Das Haus ist schön ruhig gelegen und hat alles was man braucht und vor allem die Garage für die Bikes war top. Die Kommunikation mit Pier war unkompliziert und er war immer super hilfsbereit."

"Two families stayed the long weekend here with 3 kids 10, 10, 8. It was beautiful and well kept, perfect little gem with a big property, covered semi heated pool and all the things you need in the kitchen. We enjoyed the sun, pool, gorgeous outdoor dinners and view. Very cool indoors at night. The host was so welcoming and booked us dinner 5 min away one night. Alassio is 15 min away down the windy road so convenient enough for a beach day and shopping in town. Easy parking. Just a perfect...

"Villa Anka is a litlle bit difficult to find as this address is not on google maps.The location is really in the sky, good for hiking. Not so convenient to go down to the sea as the road is really difficult, steep and narrow. The house is older, but still fine. Great collection of music - 60s, 70s- we really liked that. Unfortunatelly no free wifi. The view from the balcony was awsome."

"Where to begin? The “villa” had only one correct description. Magnificent views (only seen if you are standing…). None of the four advertised bedrooms were usable due to toxic extremely strong smell of the mildew. Black mold on the ceiling in all bathrooms, wet linens due to humidity, unkept grounds, weak wifi, pigeon excrements in the outside “pizza oven” but the best is yet to come! "We had a great time at this wonderful villa. It is beautiful, clean, and well kept. The views are wonderful, and the things to do in Alassio include great food, fun at the beach, a wonderful town to explore, and a great atmosphere to enjoy. The owners were great hosts. They helped us get settled in, and were very responsive to any questions we had. I recommend this home to anyone who wants to get to know the Italian Riviera. We can’t wait to go back!"

"Unfortunately the maintenance was very neglected, several things either didn’t work, were of poor quality, or old and dirty. Having to deal with repairs during your vacation is a real pain and waste of your time. The property is very dangerous for children as well as the elderly. Three is no grill outdoors (just a stone pit), there is a stairway with no railing (can you imagine?!?), home is located on a nameless dirt road high up a winding mountain which is a real pain having to go into town...

"Everything was exactly as the listing describes. The views and the kitchen drew us to this listing, what we found in real life was so much better in person. First, we met Alessandro who met us in person and introduced us to the place and how it works. That was very helpful. He gave us very good recommendations, all of which were excellent! He is responsive and kind and gave us a very good start! Everything was clean and well equipped for cooking and spending a lot of time "at home". I enjoyed...

"The holiday home was superb and very nicely decorated and furnished. This home made the holiday. It fully catered for all our needs, included a need to relax in the evening after sight seeing or a day at the beach. Further, the garden was lovely and enabled us to have breakfast in the sun! Also, the owner was fantastic and kept checking in with us to make sure everything was ok. Overall, this holiday home added to our great holiday in Northern Italy!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the villa. It was well set up for guests. The views and outside space are amazing. We ate every meal looking out to sea. We had 2 teenagers with us and the WiFi worked well which kept them happy. We found the pool a bit small for us and preferred to walk to the beach at San Lorenzo. We would return but not in August when parking is stressful wherever you go! Communication with Marjolein was very good."
