"Everything about the house was as advertised. The hosts live on the property, and were very responsive to anything we needed. We were staying in Dolo so that we could visit with family so the location was fine. You are about 30 minutes to Venice by car. If we have any reason to go back, we would definitely stay here again."

"The home and grounds are spectacular, as is Marcello, the host. Large bedrooms, cozy sitting rooms, all beautifully decorated with impeccable taste, yet it feels like a family home. Having stayed in many homes in several countries, this is probably our favorite for its serenity and sheer beauty. Looking forward to returning as often as possible."

"Our party of 6 friends just spent a wonderful weekend at Matteo’s lovely house. We found it to be clean, well-appointed, and exceptionally comfortable. It’s walkable to town, but is on a quiet and private property surrounded by olive trees and beautiful views. Matteo was very responsive and easy to work with. "The villa is located near a small mountain town surrounded by vineyards. It is an absolutely stunning setting. The villa easily sleeps 7 adults and it is large with lots of separate rooms so it never feels crowded.It is filled with art and antiques and whimsical things to discover. There are two outdoor patios, one for outdoor dining and one for sipping wine or snoozing in the hammock.The villa is secure behind a gate and fence with room to park several cars. "This is an awesomely renovated home with old character but modern conveniences in a nice location. We found it a nice break from the bustle of Venice even tho it was a 45-60 min drive to Mestre and the train station. Great views and stunning sunsets and we were lucky with moon rise..."
