"The apartment is at the heart of the small village, central to several great restaurants and practically across the street from the incredible 11th century abbey. The place was very clean and has been recently renovated, but still had a very historic feel to it. Emanuel, our host, was very friendly and gracious. He offered several personal recommendations to restaurants and a wine tasting at a nearby castle, all of which were great! Would definitely stay here again!"

As others have said, to get to it, you need to drive down a bit of bumpy dirt road (so having a SUV would be a wise choice), but once you get there l, the pure serenity and peacefulness of the Tuscan hills await you. "Clean, comfortable, quiet, and such a lovely room with a balcony view that can’t be beat. The spa services were easy to schedule with the friendly staff (definitely get a massage while you’re there) and the location was perfect. We were a ten minute walk from the city center and felt both close to everything and far enough away that we could pretend to be locals. Couldn’t have chosen a better place to end our days in Tuscany. "

"Came from the US for our honeymoon in early March and rented from them. I don’t have a single regret!! The hosts were very easy to work with. Communication was consistent and the instructions were very easy to follow for check-in and finding the place. Any issues we may have had were taken care of immediately by the hosts. "We were very happy with our stay at the hotel Duomo. The room had an excellent view outside our balcony. The Duomo had scaffolding at the time of our visit but it did not take away anything. The location is excellent. You are right at the main square and the distances to the museums and to the Ponte Vecchio were just a few blocks away. Everything was walkable. The staff were so friendly and very accommodating. Water and coffee is free and they had pastries available any time of the day."
