"This was an excellent getaway for our family of 5 (two adult and 3 kids ages 7 & 8). Our kids loved sleeping in the loft area. The owner has truly thought of everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was rainy and cool for most of the weekend but the overhead heaters made the outdoor patio the perfect place for a cup of coffee. Lots of wildlife sightings too - deer and two bald eagles. "We had a great time during our stay. I do have a recommendation, though. Please upgrade the paper products -- the paper towels and toilet paper are both thin and cheap. We didn't have enough toilet paper or regular bath towels for three adults and a child."

It’s an hour away from Mount Rainier however this is where you want to be especially during the busy months when the cars are lined up to Ashford. We enjoyed the privacy, fires in the evening after a long hike and our kids loved going home to Carlos and the cute cows. We had deers and elk visiting one night also. The house is chic & nicely decorated, loved the kitchen! I would highly recommend!"
