"This was a lovely vacation home for a weekend in Akaroa. It was a little adventurous getting up and down the driveway with a campervan, but doable. Once there, the views are fantastic and it is truly a pretty easy walk to town. Kitchen was well stocked for basic cooking and bathrooms have nice amenities like heaters and heated towel racks. It was a lovely stay and we recommend it without reservation. "

I had my parents come and stay with me over Easter and they loved it. Its a great spot. Very close to everything you need but at the same time very quiet. However, parking was a bit challenging, especially during busier hours, and the lack of air conditioning upstairs made the bedroom quite warm at night. "

"This home is beautiful and very accessible to the town of Christchurch and surrounding attractions. My children loved the pool and the kitchen was very user friendly and spacious. The only complaint was that there were not many hangers in each room and limited towels. The showers leaked on the floor and we needed to use the towels to dry the floors and ensure they would be safe given that they were concrete and slippery when wet.
