"Loved the place and the remoteness. The water pump wasn't working, but a solution was promptly provided. It wasn't the best situation, but it worked. Also, the second bed appeared to be a mattress pad behind the main bed. We ended up just sharing the bed for the duration of the stay. Would return, but would love those issues/inaccuracies to be fixed."

"We stayed in the cabin while we attended the Deck the Halls wine trail. The cabin was very nice and clean and all of the necessary amenities were provided. While the house is not directly on the lake, it is just a short walk down to the dock listed by the property. "

"This cabin is in the perfect location and has AMAZING views!! It has a lot of space and a lot of steps which isn’t great for carrying luggage and groceries up to the main floor and then more steps for the open loft bedroom. We were fine with it, but keep that in mind. The bedrooms were a bit warm. We couldn’t lock the door when leaving because the code lock wasn’t working at the time we were there. "This was our third stay at the Love Shack and it couldn’t have been better! We come each fall to tour wineries and waterfalls. The Love Shack is cozy and relaxing with an amazing view of the rising sun each morning, a lovely deck, and all the amenities for a long weekend stay. The location is great for traveling around Seneca and Keuka. The winery across the street-Scout-is wonderful!"

The best stories are told around the fire pit. Extra chairs stored in basement.

"There was nothing about our stay that wasn’t perfect. Even the rainy weather gave us an opportunity to catch up, play some ping pong, and enjoy our favorite spot - the screened in back porch! As a retired nurse and part-time cleaner for an a vacation rental, I and my sisters were very impressed with the cleanliness of the property! "Our goal for this trip was to revisit the Finger Lakes area in upstate NY to see the peak fall foliage; hike to see some of the beautiful waterfalls; bike a rails-to-trail distance; walk our small pups on a trail; enjoy the scenery & local cuisine; and just relax. "We had a great time staying here! Cabin was very cute, cozy and we loved the hot tub! Fenced in backyard was great for my 3yr old to run around in without having to worry about him leaving my sight! Location is perfect! Secluded just enough that you don’t feel like you’re alone in the middle of the woods, but you still have privacy! And the daily breakfast is a perfect touch!
