"Large welcoming room, all the facilities required for a comfortable stay. On site parking a bonus. Disappointing to be told initially that there was not a table available for us as guests in the hotel restaurant for an evening meal, at no point from booking to arrival were we advised we needed to book, in the end the staff accommodated us although we were sat near to a very draughty door. On a positive the food was good and the waitress’s friendly. "

"Visiting family before new year. Lovely single room with small en-suite but perfect for me. Everything I needed was available but in the kitchen, required more utensils for cooking. "I was only here for 2 days but found it easily, was able to park (if a bit pricey) and charge my car there. Breakfast was good quality and value. The room was very well appointed and comfortable so slept well. The only small criticism was the bar which had very loud pounding music playing in the evening even when empty. Wanted to watch the snooker with a drink but TV was behind the bar so seemed to be more for the staff than the customers. Went back to my room, instead."
