"This property is on the ground floor. It is quite large with a separate bedroom, and even a laundry. Very clean. I appreciated an outdoor shower to clean sand off and an excellent area in the carport for drying clothes.The kitchen includes a full size refrigerator, a convection microwave and a closed off pantry/storage area.The beach is right across the road from the beach. Perhaps be aware that it is quite a busy road and therefore noisy. "

"After a check-in hiccup due to Bookabach sending the wrong access code, we managed to get in. Communication direct with the owner was really good after that. Easy place to stay with kitchen facilities upstairs and down and BBQs. Lovely big deck with awesome views. Paddles for each kayak would have been great, rather than just one, but otherwise no complaints. It had everything we needed for a relaxing beach holiday with small children in a peaceful area. "I've walked past this little bach many times over the years and admired it, but staying in it was so much better than expected. The comfort, the proximity to the beach, the views and the outdoor shower with a proper door you close and hot water, was Heavenly. The bar straight off the kitchen totally enhances this bach experience we loved it. My teenage daughter loved the bunk cubby. We'll be back for sure."

"This place was amazing and probably one of the best places we’ve stayed. The house had plenty of space for our 4 adults and 4 children and the location was phenomenal. We were right by the beach and there is a small restaurant with great food and a small grocery store right next door. The shops are only a block away and there are other great restaurants in that same area. Rob was a great host and worked with us easily with adding some additional guests last min whose reservations didn’t work...

"We stayed in the Kauri chalet and really liked it. The view is great. The connecting room, Rata’s view is even better, but that room is much smaller. If you are a bigger group, booking these two rooms together will be perfect. We woke up to the birdsongs and had a peaceful breakfast on the balcony. The stairs bring the charm to the place and we did not mind the extra steps. Owner/staff are very friendly. PAKnSAVE is only 6 minutes drive away."
