"Warm and cosy, modern kitchen great for cooking. Good heating and a nice big shower, needs a non slip mat. Love the farm vibe, oranges right outside the kitchen window. Private and safe. I think the sheets and duvets were singles put over the queen size bed, otherwise perfect with the electric blankets."

"Only stayed for the night but wish we could have stayed for longer. It's a characterful and surprisingly roomy bach with enough kitchen space to cook for our group of six. The dunes are definitely worth seeing, really beautiful."

We enjoyed exploring the beach and also being close to Auckland for city activities. Friendly and helpful hosts. Would definitely recommend and stay again. "

"The standard of accommodation was excellent as was the communication with the host. Location within a reasonable distance from the airport is a plus.....but a challenging location for shopping for supplies without access to a motor vehicle as is a long steep driveway to access the property. We were surprised that there was no free to air television coverage which was not disclosed at time of booking. Overall, we would book again for our needs, but issues highlighted will surprise and disappoint...

"Well equipped home with more than the two of use needed for the weekend. Everything you need in the kitchen, and a sun room that was great for afternoon tea. Shops are 15 minutes away, but this was no issue for us as we went through towns on our way to Orienteering."
