Lovely cottage in the country
It was the perfect accommodation for our short stay and had everything that we needed. A quiet and peaceful setting. Our kids really enjoyed the tame chickens and Liz's homemade plum jam.

Right place to stay before Waitomo Caves adventure.
We needed a place within easy drive to our caving adventure the next morning. Berry View Cottage was very clean, cozy, and owner is a very nice person. Thanks for a great stay!

Ideally situated just a short drive outside Te Awamutu and easy access to the airport (around 15 minutes). Peaceful outlook over fields and berry farms. Enjoyed our stay.

Countryside hospitality!
While quite a small space for three adults, everything was new, the setting extremely beautiful and we really loved the extra touches. Superior breakfast options including fruit and homemade jams together with a particularly warm welcome left a very positive impression. Also easy to find and not far at all from main highway.

Idyllic
Idyllic country getaway! Here you will experience rural NZ at its best. Incredible views of rolling green hills, berry fields and happy cows and chickens! The house was warm, cosy and clean and the hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly and went out of their way to make our stay special.

Liz was very welcoming and even introduced us to their chickens. The cows in the paddock next door greeted us in the morning. The cottage was quaint and tidy; while it was outside of the township, it was just close enough to get food and do activities.

The perfect segway to Hobbiton!
A lovely little place to stay that was perfect for our requirements. As a family of 5 we needed a place to stay the night so we could venture on to Hobbiton first thing in the morning. It was also a business trip for me so the great WiFi reception was essential. Liz was a friendly and helpful host and pointed us in the direction of an awesome restaurant, where I had one of the best pork belly meals I've had in a while and the family enjoyed their food too! It's not a big place but it's clean, tidy, modern and warm and if I could I would have given Berry View Cottage 10 stars as would highly recommend it as a great place to stay with stunning views.

Peace & quite to recharge the sole
A cute little home away from home in a quite country setting, just 5 min from Te Awamutu. Great for a break from every day grind and getting back to the simple things in life. Lovely outlook of the fruit vines & rolling green hills. Communication & directions were great and easy to follow. Liz the host is friendly, warm & welcoming and also very knowledgable & passionate about the surrounding area. Made to feel very welcolm, & loved the little touches, like the heater being switched on so you come back to a warm house. Great space, close to lots of local activities and attractions. I'll definitely stay here again if in the area. Large shower, nice drinking tap water and awesome selection of breakfast spreads. Thanks for a great stay.

Perfect get away
There were three of us at Berry View and there were two bedrooms so privacy for each. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchenette was well fitted out, clean, and had everything we needed for meals and snacks. The bathroom was beautifully clean and had some necessary items for those who might have forgotten certain things. The towel warmer ensured that you had dry and warm towels - lovely. The hosts were lovely and gave us the gift of some fresh mandarins, but were not invasive and gave us plenty of privacy. The view of the Berry farm was lovely and restful and watching the chickens wandering around was fun. Wifi worked very well which was important for us as we still had to be connected for work. Overall a lovely stay and well worth it. Many thanks for your hospitality and lovely clean premises.
