"Updated older property. We rented one of their larger rooms and were surprised that our room did not have AC however other rooms in the hotel did have AC. Shower was nice and had a large jet tub however we did not have time to use it. The breakfasts that we had at the hotel were fine with plenty to eat at buffet style breakfast."

"The facility is a little out dated, but was still clean, warm and cozy. Staff were polite and pleasant at check in and check out. Beautiful views from the room. "

"Great stay. We had a villa. No view. Carpet had a musty smell but other than that everything was great. Great breakfast buffet and having a sauna to use was really nice. Staff was friendly. Bed comfortable. Nice bathroom. "

"Clean room. Noisy until 1000 so if you are getting up early for Milford Sound can be a little upsetting. The beds were hard on my back and my friend said her bed was uncomfortable too. Check in staff very friendly. Overall for what we paid for the room per night, it was worth it."

"This hotel is right on the front beach strip at the lake. We had a peak of the lake and hills out our window over the roof next door. The staff is lovely and the area is remarkably beautiful! Thanks, Kingsgate!"
