"Riad Al Ansari is a beautiful riad which has been recently renovated to the highest standard. The rooms are spacious and airy with high ceilings and Moroccan architectural detail. I had a lovely room with a view of the courtyard. Most importantly, Hicham, the manager, was very hospitable and welcoming. He is charming and made me feel totally comfortable and safe. As well as eating at the riad for breakfast and for one dinner, I followed his recommendations for dining and was very impressed....

"Hasan made sure we were well taken care of. He helped with luggage carrying toand from our check in and check out. He ensured breakfast was ready on time and even packed and gave us breakfast on the day we were leaving since we left super early. "Despite initial difficulty finding the place at the first time, the overall experience staying here was great. Ahmed proactively contacted me via WhatsApp and provided useful instructions. His entire family was welcoming and when his Mother learned that I couldn't stay for breakfast, she offered to cook me dinner. That was best couscous I’ve ever tried in my life. Amazing hospitality, clean and safe place to stay while in Fes. Certainly recommended to others. "

"This is a superb riad. in the Fez Medina and what a wonderful stay we had. The building is authentic and exotic and the staff could not have been more helpful. They were at all times smiling and welcoming. The food was delicious and the presentation extremely appealing. "

"Was hassled by their in-house tout to do an expensive guided tour before we even stepped foot inside. Outside door is locked at all times and we had to ask them to open the door each time we wanted to get something from our car. They tried to charge us for parking (it was supposed to be free). They said we could not eat outside food - only eat in their over-priced 'restaurant'. Ad on Hotels.com said there was 4 bars/restaurants (making it sound like a resort). Total fabrication. "The location is unbeatable. A stones throw from the entrance to the ancient city which is the reason to visit Fes. The WiFi is very good. The water supply is also very good. Staff are helpful but limited English. Its a safe place too, no issues there. Breakfast mainly variety of breads with jam and butter coffee or tea. But the room is basic and no soap provided. I didn't have a soap dish or bath mat or towel rack. Room for improvement there. However for the rate and helpful staff I'd recommend...

"Riad Inaya Fez is a beautifully renovated riad in the medina of Fez. We had the Karaouine suite which has the best views overlooking the communal terrace and of the medina. The room is very special and very cosy and is quite spacious. The hosts are both lovely and we had a good time chatting with them. The views from the rooftop is spectacular as it is one of the highest buildings in the medina and on a hill. The riad is in a good location next to one of the entrances into the Medina therefore...

"Darif's Riad is a serene and comfortable place to make your home base while in Fes. Service is wonderful and friendly. The property is beautiful and has great ambiance. The only negative was I found the breakfast and one dinner I had there to be lacking, I was expecting better."

"This hotel was one of the most gorgeous properties I have ever stayed at. It’s hard to overstate how beautiful it was inside the hotel and the rooms. The staff was more than welcoming and remembered us immediately. The food offered by the hotel was phenomenal, really providing a taste of Morocco. They offered to set us up with a licensed tour guide to take us around the Medina. Everything was immaculate and would stay here again! The only downside was the Spa didn’t seem accommodating to booking after arrival "

"2nd time staying here, perfect hotel, clean, quiet, beautiful room, comfortable bed, good food especially Friday special cous cous was delicious just like homemade and Moroccan dessert was also delicious. One negative: not a good experience at the spa- the steam room didn’t work properly, which is the whole point of hammam- you need to spend time in the hot steam room before the scrub for the best results. And when I tried to tell that to the attendant- she wouldn’t even listen and denied that anything was wrong with the steam! That was really upsetting!!!"

"I had a wonderful stay at Riad Jamaï! The riad itself is beautifully designed, with a peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. One of the highlights of our visit was the exceptional service provided by Said. He gave us fantastic recommendations for exploring the city and made our experience even more memorable with his kindness and great conversations. Thanks to Said and the entire team, our trip was truly unforgettable. I highly recommend staying here!"
