Occasionally, the property managers may be on the beach/grass for beach/property maintenance, but the beach is private. For the security of our guests and the safety of our home, we have an external Ring doorbell/security camera on the front porch. It is always on and recording video and audio. There are no other cameras on the premises.
If you have an issue during your stay, you can ring the doorbell to connect you with someone who can assist you. We are also always available by phone, email or text during your stay.

Georgian Bay is a beautiful place to spend a holiday! The water is warm, the beaches are sandy, and there is an abundance of things to do! The area has plenty of beautiful trails if you enjoy hiking or biking. In Midland, you can catch a ride on the Georgian Spirit boat to see many of the surrounding islands. Keep your eye out for turtles!
Midland has a public transport system. The house is located in Port McNicoll which is a short 10 minute drive from Midland. There are taxi services in the area as well.
*Note About the Beach* - Georgian Bay water levels have changed drastically this year and daily. You may not see the beach depending on the water levels during your stay. There is, however, a large grassy area right by the water that guests can use (see photos). There is a sandy public beach about a 15-minute walk from the cottage, called Magnus Park, that can be used if guests would like to enjoy the beach.
