"A beautiful old castle that has been completely refurbished/modernized on the inside, sitting on a beautiful property with nearby forests, vineyards, and olive groves. After the hustle and bustle of Rome and Florence, the serenity here was perfection. We stayed in the 'deluxe double room' which was absolutely fantastic. We arranged a vespa rental and rode through the countryside to the nearby Castellina in Chianti and cute hilltop town and took a wonderful cooking class at Taverna...

"This was an absolute highlight of our trip. The castle is beautiful and incredibly well kept. The proprietor visited our table one morning, at the beautiful breakfast they offered, and gave us some fantastic history of the property and the upgrades she has made to the castle and the grounds. Nothing short of excellent!"

"Ya habia estado volvi porque me encanto pero ahora no es igual el desayuno muy pobre , y la habitacion era chica e incomodo para or al baño con escalones de por medio y no estaba todo disponible para ver como por ejemplo la capilla y la sala de recepciones … y ademas el testing era free y ahora no , lamento de ir todo esto pero es verdad . "Our stay was outstanding. We got to stay in an 8th century abbey! We had so much space and a full kitchen. Beautiful property. Our hosts were outstanding, very attentive, responsive, excellent breakfast prepared by the family, good wine made on-site, option for traditional dinner (we didn’t have it but it was nice to have the option), just wonderful overall! Laura and her daughters and husband do an amazing job. "

The owners were very responsive and helpful. And don’t forget to have Kati prepare a meal for you as an option they provide. It was wonderful. We had an amazing time and are taking away even more amazing memories of this property and our time in Tuscany. "

"Had a nice stay. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Apartment was clean. Property is beautiful, I can only imagine how beautiful it would be in the summer. My only suggestion for people looking to book would be that you might want to rent a car. It is technically walking distance to centre of town in Siena but it’s a bit of an awkward walk uphill. "

"Staff was very proficient in English for the most part, with excellent communication and professional in service through and through. Restaurant on site was elegant with good variety of menu items, though a little pricey as expected. Quality of food was above average but not excellent as expected. Drive to this monastery was fairly easy with surrounding village somewhat accommodating in amenities and conveniences. Keep in mind you would need a car throughout your stay here. Siena is 10 minutes away by car, a must see for at least one day. "

"Great location, walkable from the train station. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. First night we got a room by the elevator, and it was very loud. Asked the desk to be moved and they happily moved my wife and I to a very quiet room. I would recommend this hotel. Great location, very clean, and excellent staff. "
