"Kay’s place is awesome! The view cannot be beat, the entire place is meticulously clean, and the couches/beds are very comfortable. We had a relaxing week at Kay’s, and we loved staying within walking distance to town, the beach, and the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. Never used the kayaks, but we appreciated having plenty of towels for the beach or bath. Also, the kitchen included all of the cooking supplies we needed, and the BBQ was spotless (as well as the whole house). We were in NZ for 5 weeks,...

"The Parrot's Nest is very comfortable, clean, and well appointed. Vanessa is a welcoming, friendly, and generous host. As we did not have a vehicle, we loved being walking distance from the Kerikeri Basin, with the Stone Store and Kemp House so close, plus the lovely waterfall walk. We have no hesitation in recommending this place."
