"The whole experience was wonderful, from the moment we arrived. The rooms were spacious and temperature we were able to regulate well. Pool was an added bonus and it was very quiet so felt like you could do a proper swimming session. Breakfast was delightful, catering for all needs. Great buffet style. Service was welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you. Full of local knowledge too. The deli was a great idea, especially if you just want to grab a snack and drink to retire to your room. The time of year we went (February) it was so quiet, we felt like we were the only people there. Would definitely use The Lodge again when visiting Billund. "

"Nothing rally good to mention, nothing really bad to mention. Buildings felt a bit worn, and layout felt a bit a boarding school. Value for money? You clearly pay for the location close to the Boxen/HMC venue. Otherwise really overpriced! I never mentioned the used cotton swab I found in the bed to the staff, I just used the other bed as there were two beds in the single room. "

"We stayed over the Christmas holidays for 2 nights as a family of 4 in a Pirate room. We loved the design of the room, of course as the cheapest room, it was very small, not at all sound proof & some wear and tear eg lots of condensation on windows. But for the excellent price we paid we cannot complain! The children received a festive lego set gift & some sweets in the room. There was a kettle with drinks, a fridge & a hairdryer in the room. The hotel itself is beautifully designed & exciting, with lots of indoor activities, lego & gaming areas. They run 3 competitions daily which are worth entering with the chance of winning a Lego prize. The festive decor added to the charm. In the Christmas holidays, the only restaurant open was the Panaroma restaurant. This is a gorgeous restaurant with delicious food but dinner is a very expensive buffet! The food I think is reasonable but the drinks were ridiculously priced & the waiters upsell “rainbow cocktails” for the kids for about £8 each-totally unnecessary. They also charge £5 for a jug of tap water!! In the brick bar, you can order food up until 5pm (kids chicken nuggets & Lego chips are 99Kr/£11 ish). Breakfast was included in the room price we paid & was excellent! The hotel is literally opposite legoland & there is a special entrance. Note entrance to legoland is not included in the standard room price. Legoland is small to walk around but packed full of rides & looked beautiful at Christmas time."

"The lodges were lovely and clean, there is lots of space between them so you never felt overlooked. They also provided more things in the house than I'm used to. There was dishwasher tablets and tea towels. The shop in the main building was also really good and not too expensive. If anything the site is too big and a long walk to the main bit especially if you have a child who normally doesn't use a buggy. The main bit is really good and has lots to do. There wasn't much live entertainment when we were there despite having a stage. Legoland and Wow park are within walking distance both of which id reccomend and need full days."

"We had a great trip, easy access from the airport and walking distance to Lego house, legoland, La landia. What more could you want. The decor certainly landed well with my 8 year old. As a female travelling alone with my son I felt safe being in the hotel and the surrounding areas at all times. Hotel restaurant was closed on our arrival day - but not a problem as we had the choice to eat at the hotel next door with many options for us both to enjoy. Overall a great stay. "
